Getting Home After a Gangnam Club Night: Taxis, Subway, Valet
Last updated 3 min readWritten by the Club ACE Seoul team
The subway stops before the club does. How to plan your ride back from Club ACE Seoul near Sinsa Station — taxi apps, first trains, valet parking and what to have ready.
Quick answer
Seoul's subway stops running long before a Gangnam club closes, so decide how you are getting back before you go out. Club ACE Seoul is at Sinsa Station Exit 4 and runs until 8–8am, which means most guests leave by taxi during the night or catch the first trains in the morning.
The gap between last train and first train
This is the one piece of planning that catches visitors out. The club is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11pm to 8am, while the subway shuts down around midnight and starts again early in the morning. Check your line's exact times in a map app before you head out, because they differ by line and by station.
In practice that leaves you two clean options: leave by taxi whenever you are done, or stay until the trains restart and ride back in the morning. Plenty of guests do the second, which is part of why the club runs as late as it does.
Taxis and ride apps
Taxis are the default way home in the small hours, and Gangnam-daero is a main road where they are easy to find. Kakao T is the app most people in Seoul use, and it lets you set a destination without speaking Korean — useful at 4am when explaining a hotel name is harder than it sounds.
Have your destination saved in Korean on your phone before the night starts. If you are hailing on the street instead, showing the address in Hangul works far better than pronouncing it. Late-night fares run higher than daytime, so keep a card or a little cash ready.
If you are driving
Valet parking is available at the club, which removes the problem of finding a space on a busy Gangnam street. Hand the car over at the door and collect it when you leave.
The obvious caveat applies: if you are drinking, do not drive. Korea enforces drink-driving rules strictly, and leaving the car with the valet overnight and taking a taxi is the normal, sensible choice.
Staying nearby instead
The simplest fix for the transport gap is to sleep close by. Sinsa and the surrounding Gangnam area have plenty of hotels within a short ride, and a walk home beats any 5am fare.
If you would rather have it arranged, our team can put together a table plus a hotel night with pickup as one package. Tell us your dates and group size in the chat and we will quote it — the point is that your ride home is handled before you start the night, not after.
